I have valued our time together over the years as you've sat in my chair and grown with me as a stylist, business owner, dog-momma, wife and now MOM! With so much prayer and consideration, I've decided to step away from doing my regular haircuts, colors, and highlights. At this time I am focusing exclusively on bridal hair and being a mom and a wife. (And what a full time job that is in itself!)
I look forward to this pivot in life but want to set you up with some stylists to look into as you do your research and find the right fit in a stylist for you going forward.
There are so many wonderful stylists in the area and I am just scratching the surface here with my list. I do not know for certain that all are accepting new clients, but please feel free to share with them that I had been your stylist and that they are welcome to send me a message for any color formulas or direction to make transitions seamless. I was unable to get links that connected properly to some of these stylists so use instagram or google to find more info on each stylist and/or salon.
IRIS HOUSE in New Oxford Pa, has a team of 5 incredible stylists. Each schedules independently and runs their own mini business within the business.
EMERALD ONYX SALON in Gettysburg Pa, has several incredible stylists! Check out their website to see individual bios on each girl. Here are a few of their instagram handles.
HARLEN HAIR COMPANY in Hanover Pa, is under new name and ownership but is right where the Blowout Bar used to be. Owner Julianne Morris was my coworker at the Blowout Bar before my new location. They have a full team of stylists and a master barber. See more about their team on the website.
5:22 HAIR LAB in Camp Hill Salon Suites. Independent owner, Joy (Nunn) Shrader is a good friend and colleague whom I love and trust with my own hair! Currently only works weekends. Online booking is currently closed, but you can contact her on her facebook messenger.
Lorae Fidler is an independent stylist that was in Gettysburg but now has a new space to call her own in Hanover. She offers online booking and can also be contacted through instagram messenger.
SALT HAIR STUDIO at 101 West Middle St Gettysburg is independently owned by Sarah Mailey: one of my coworkers when I worked in Gettysburg.
CHELSI GROFT & MEGAN DOAN may not be able to take new clients, but I'm happy to list them as wonderful stylists in the area. These two ladies worked with me at The Blowout Bar, but now have a small salon on York Street in Hanover called Moonstone.
MERAKI GETTYSBURG has a full staff of stylists and they use the same color line I've been using. There are lots of great stylists here and a variety of available hours for appointments. Check out the website to see the individual bio for these stylists and call the salon or schedule online.
LEVITY and MAVEN are also wonderful options for those of you liking the downtown Hanover area. Levity is currently working on moving into a new space that even has it's own parking! A huge bonus for the downtown salon area. Both salons have a similar style to myself and very talented stylists.
There are so many wonderful stylists to choose from. All of these ladies do incredible work and I just know you'll love them. Just remember, it takes a time or two to really nail the look you're wanting. These stylists will need an opportunity to learn just how you like your hair. My prayer is that you'd love your hair more than you imagined as you land in just the right stylist's chair.
